Muriale’s named 2015 Small Business of the Year for West Virginia

Muriale’s Restaurant in Fairmont was named U.S. Small Business Administration’s 2015 Family-Owned Small Business of the Year in the West Virginia District.  

Owner Rocco Muriale is a second generation family member.

Muriale’s Restaurant is an Italian restaurant off I-79 that began in 1969. The restaurant was started by brothers Frank and Sam Muriale, their wives, grandparents, and other family members.  

The restaurant seats 300.

SBA’s West Virginia District Office will celebrate Muriale’s award during a luncheon at the Canaan Valley State Park & Conference Center in Davis, Wednesday, May 27 at 11:30 a.m.
