Ed Graffius retires

 Ed Graffius, Class of 1971, retired from Wal-Mart where he has been receiving manager since 1991.

“Guess who is officially retired today?...... Meeeeeee! It's been a long ride.”

Ed’s birthday is today, May 27. Quite a birthday present, huh?

Ed is from Monongah but lives in Fairmont and has been a receiving manager at Wal-Mart since 1991. He lives with wife Brenda Ridenour Graffius, Class of 1974, a Licensed Practical Nurse, in their Pleasant Valley home. Ed and “the pretty blonde-haired girl with a smile” have married more than 41 years (42 on Aug. 4) and have two children and five grandchildren.

Helen Prahl Graffius, daughter of Paul and Beulah Toothman Prahl,  lives in Monongah. Her siblings are George Prahl, Charles “Tinker” Prahl, Sarah Prahl Dusenberry,

 

Jon Graffius is North Marion Class of 1982. David Graffius, Class of 1973, is deceased.
