Don and Wauneda Evans, parents of Brian Evans, are celebrating their 67th wedding anniversary today.

On Monday, Brian and wife Patti DeMary Evans, Class of 1972, who live in Fairmont, will be observing their 41st wedding anniversary.

These guys need a towering double wedding cake.

Pattie wrote:

"When we are young, just out of school....with so many options open to us, it is sometimes hard to make the right decision.....lucky for me that I was smart enough to do just that.....definitely made the RIGHT decision way back then.....Happy Anniversary to my husband of 41 years and counting.....love u....still and forever!"
 
 

Patti is a retired nurse (1987-2006) and graduate of MHS and Fairmont State. Patti’s parents are Peaches and Frank DeMary, who ran DeMary Grocery in Monongah at the end of the Brookdale Bridge. Previously, they owned a grocery store in Pennsylvania.

 
Patti's sister is BettyAnne DeMary. Patti's cousin, Junie Osborne Aldridge, lives in Farmington.


Patti and Debbie Manzo Vandetta, Class of 1973 and married to Monongah Mayor Greg Vandetta, have been friends for 60 years.
 
Kim DeMary Clowers lives in Red Bank, Tennessee with husband Earl Lee Clowers. Kim is famous for her bunny rabbit cookie jars collection. She is a Registered Nurse after her graduation from Chattanooga State Community College in Tennessee.

 
Kim’s brother is Joe Jo-Jo DeMary and her sisters are Julie DeMary & Joanne DeMary. 

Their parents are Joe DeMary and Laurelle Costello Hustead.

Kim and Debbie Weaver Hurley, Class of 1979, have been best friends since they were 4 years old.
