February birthdays for Monongah High alumni

Maybe Monongah Mayor Greg Vandetta can arrange a 21-gun salute for a February birthday girl.

That would be his wife, Debra Manzo Vandetta, Class of 1973, whose birthday is February 1. Another Greg Vandetta, their son (the II), can help. They also have two daughters, Jessica and Bethany, and six grandchildren.

Bonnie Nicholson Moats, Class of 1960, who lives in Rustburg, Virginia, will tack on another year February 10. Her son, John Todd Moats, who lives in Lynchburg, Virginia, was born in Monongah.
