Blackout in Monongah

Monongah was among the 1,248 Marion County homes that lost power during Friday’s rainstorm that toppled trees.

At least 734 Marion homes still were without power by Saturday morning.

Camden Avenue, Pike Street and East Monongah were among the Monongah areas that went dark.

Latest word is that all power might be on by 11 p.m. Sunday.
