My birthday is Monday, November 5 but, in our family, you arrange birthday parties around WVU, Ohio State, Penn State, Browns and Steelers football.
After the party I hustled home to watch my alma mater, WVU, break Texas' wide open spaces hearts with a 42-41 last-minute 2-point PAT run by QB Will Grier.
Mountaineer fans everywhere cheered. 100,700 in Texas' stadium were immediately silent.
