Denise Wood Roncone, Class of 1976, and Sally Tarley Wood, Class of 1959, retired Fairmont State professor (1974-2002), had a reunion in Hilton Head, South Carolina.
Denise’s father, the late Danny Wood, was Sally’s brother.

Sally and 20-year Fairmont State technology director Dr. James Hales both live in Hilton Head.

Denise was vacationing in Hilton Head with her husband, Mike Roncone. They live in Monongah.

Denise’s stepfather was the late Michael Miller, who married Janice Gibbles Miller.

Denise's mother was the late Rosalie Hestick Wood, a Monongah High grad whose parents were the late Michael and Stella Mozuke Hestick. Rosalie was known as the Easter Egg Lady at Holy Spirit Church in Monongah.

Denise’s brother, Kevin Wood, Class of 1978, lives in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. Danny and Rosalie’s other children were 1983 North Marion grad Janine Wood Watson of Shinnston and Charles Wright Jr. of Enterprise.

Denise sang the MHS Alma Mater at a Monongah High Alumni Reunion in Fairmont. Denise’s daughter, Danielle Williams, campaigned to save the Blumberg Building (the former Patsy Forte drug store) in Monongah.
