Christmas street light locations selected

Monongah Mayor Greg Vandetta reports that the locations for the five additional Christmas street lights have been selected. That will bring the total to 21!

Greg wrote:
“We at the water office made a map of where the Christmas lights will be located. We are going to make number tags for the lights that will coincide with the map.
“The lights that were bought by individuals will be placed on the poles of their choice. We will have the light committee pattern out the rest.
“We thought this would be easier for the installer year in and year out. I'm looking forward to seeing them up.
“We have contacted the installer to have them put up the week of Thanksgiving and taken down the week after Christmas.”
Susan Staron Sanders, Class of 1971, an administrative assistant at Personnel and the Angel of Thomas Street who lives next door to His Honor and the First Lady, has been leading the  Charge of the Lights Brigade fundraising for several years.
