GREG POSTLETHWAIT PASSES AWAY






Greg Postlethwait, Class of 1964, passed away Tuesday, January 26 in Durham, North Carolina. Greg is from Worthington (Helen’s Run) and worked at Ecolab.

Linda Renay Hess Postlethwait, Class of 1968, is his widow. She’s be observing her first birthday without Greg on Thursday, February 11.

Their children are Charles Gregg Postlethwait and Brandon Keith Postlethwait.

Sabrina Postlethwait Haught, Class of 1974, is Charles Greg Postlethwait’s sister.

Greg’s parents were Darcis Anderson Postlethwait, who passed away in 2019, and Charles Postlethwait, who passed away in 1984. Darcis and Charles were married 43 years.

Darcis enjoyed singing gospel music with her granddaughters, The Lee Sisters.

Charles “Greg” Gregory Postlethwait, 74, passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at Duke University Hospital.

He was born in Fairmont, W.V. to the late Charles William Postlethwait and Darcis Virginia Anderson Postlethwait. In addition to his parents, Mr. Postlethwait was also predeceased by his son, Robert Craig Postlethwait.

Mr. Postlethwait retired as a salesman from Ecolab. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Mr. Postlethwait is survived by his wife, Linda Renay Postlethwait; sons, Charles Gregg Postlethwait, Brandon Keith Postlethwait; grandchildren, Brianna Nicole Lindsey Postlethwait, Emma Rose Postlethwait; great-grandson, Jaxson Keith James; and sister, Sabrina Regina Haught.

A private memorial service will be held. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, face coverings and social distancing are required for all services. We ask that anyone experiencing cold/flu-like symptoms please stay home. In lieu of flowers, remember Greg fondly.
