Glenda Faye Murphy Jack, Class of
1960, passed away Friday, January 3 in Abilene, Texas.
Her brother, Donald Leonard, Class of
1958, lives in Worthington.
Their parents were Basil Murphy and
Mary Leonard Murphy.
Glenda and husband Carl Jack, who were
married for 60 years, have three children.
Carl went to Pepperdine
University and Leechburg Area
High School in Pennsylvania.
Jim McDaniel tipped me off about the
sad news:
“John: Wanted to tell you that a
good friend of mine passed on January 3. Glenda Murphy. Married name was
Jack. She was class of 1960 with me. She was a Monongah High majorette.
Her and family lived in Abilene, Texas. Last time I saw her is when she
came to funeral home to pay respects to my Mother in 1997. Jim”
Jim, Class of 1960, lives in Behobothbeach, Delaware. He’s
a 2-decade Air Force veteran.

With heavy hearts,
at the age of 77, we announce the death of Glenda F. Jack (Abilene, Texas), who
passed away on January 3, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their
condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by her husband Carl; her children, Jeffery Scott Jack (Jennifer) of Little Rock, Arkansas, Renee Michele Schulle (B. J.) of Abilene and Carla Haywood (Russell) of Wilmington; her brother Donald Leonard of Worthington; her grandchildren, Jarrett Eugene Schulle, Bryan Joseph Schulle, Williams Griffin Jack and Ella Renee Haywood; and her great grandchildren, Allisyn Kae Schulle, Jaxon Jarrett Schulle, Elinor Renee Schulle and Oliver Marcus Schulle.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 6th 2020 at 2:00 PM at the New Hope Church (3122 S Clack St, Abilene, TX).
