Bernie’s granddaughter passes away

Tara Lynn McHenry
Tara Lynn McHenry, granddaughter of Bernie Fullen, Class of 1963, passed away today.
She had three sons, a sister, a brother, a mom and a dad.
Bernie, whose first wife Chloe Anne passed away, is married to Donna McGinnis Suppa Fullen, whose first husband Jack Lee Suppa passed away.
They live in Shinnston.


Tara’s obituary:


Tara L. McHenry, 36, of Greenwood, passed away on June 7, 2018. She was born on February 15, 1982 in Beaumont, Texas.

Tara enjoyed playing softball when she was younger and she was a member of the track team. She loved horses and worked on a ranch where she taught others how to ride. She was devoted mother to her 3 boys who she loved taking fishing and to water parks.

She is survived by her children, Nicholas “Nick” Lynn Griner, Dakota Mitchell McHenry, and Damon Christopher Harvey; mother and step father, Rhonda and Les Ramsay; father and step mother, Philip and Debra McHenry; siblings, Christopher (Sabrina) Mitchell Ramsay and Katherine Anne (Joel) Lickliter, and Daniel (Courtney)McHenry; step brother, William Shutter; step sister, Sherry Shutter; grandparents, Bernie Fullen and James O. Gillespie, Eric and Constance Ramsay; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Chloe Anne Fullen, Mary Hawn, and James McHenry.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM at G. H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home at The Gardens Of Olive Branch, 1605 South State Road 135 and Olive Branch Road.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Tara’s memory to Wheeler Mission Higher Ground, 375 W. Edwards Ave., Indianapolis, IN 46217.
