Katherine Pulice Manno passes away
 
Idamay’s Katherine Marie Pulice Manno passed away Friday, September 8.
Her siblings are Frank Pulice, Jr., Class of 1945; Joseph A. Pulice and James Anthony Pulice, both of Phoenix, Arizona; and Mary Louise Hefner of Lima, Ohio.

Katherine was predeceased by siblings Sam Pulice, Tony Pulice, William Pulice, Norma Jean Pulice Zannino and Rose Ann Pulice Satterfield.
Katherine’s obituary:
Katherine Marie Pulice Manno, 95, of Idamay, passed away peacefully Friday morning September 8, 2017 at St. Barbara’s Memorial Nursing Home in Monongah.

She was born in Chiefton on September 16, 1921 daughter of the late Frank and Theresa Larry Pulice, Sr.

Kay was a former member of Our Lady of Pompei Catholic Church and a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Monongah.

She had previously worked at the Palace Restaurant and Say Boy’s.

She is survived by her son Sam Manno and companion Ann Taylor of Fairmont, two grandchildren who she dearly loved and helped raise Jimmy Manno and Tina Manno both of Idamay.

She is also survived by her siblings James (Ginny) Pulice of Phoenix, Arizona, Joseph A. Pulice of Phoenix, Arizona, Frank Pulice, Jr. of Fairmont, and Mary Louise Hefner of Lima, Ohio and a sister-n-law Mary Pulice of California. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews that she dearly loved.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband James Manno in 2004, three brothers Sam Pulice, Tony (Theresa Helen) Pulice, William (Edith) Pulice and two sisters Norma Jean Pulice Zannino and Rose Ann (Kenny) Satterfield, one sister-in-law Kathy Pulice and one brother-in-law Earl Hefner.

The family would like to thank the staff at St. Barbara’s Memorial Nursing Home for all the care given to Katherine over the past several years.

Friends may call at Ross Funeral Home 801 Fairmont Avenue Fairmont on Sunday from 2-7:00 P.M. Funeral service will be held Monday September 11, 2017 at 10:00 A. M. at the funeral home with Fr. Vincy Illickal officiating. Interment will follow at Shinnston Memorial Cemetery in Shinnston.
