Unwanted prescription drugs dropoff Saturday

The Monongah Police Department will accept unwanted prescription drugs from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday, September 26 at the police station on Bridge Street.

Police Chief Rick Barnhart said he hasn't seen a big prescription drug problem in Monongah, but wants to be proactive.

The drug enforcement agency will destroy the drugs dropped off.
