He also enjoyed the summers boating on the Tygart River. Mickey loved to travel and especially enjoyed the mountains and beaches of the various states and countries he visited throughout his life. He was an enthusiastic sports fan, in particular a big supporter of the Pittsburgh Steelers, WVU Mountaineers, Fairmont Falcons basketball team and college football Saturdays in general. Mickey was a devoted grandfather and traveled near and far to cheer on his grandsons in their various sporting events over the years.

Mickey chose cremation as his final disposition. A celebration of his life will be held at Domico Funeral Home 414 Gaston Ave. in Fairmont on Saturday, Sept. 19 from 4-7 p.m.  Please join the family for food and fellowship following the memorial service in the Domico Funeral Home Lounge until 9 p.m.
