Ted Shaver passes away

Ted Shaver of Fairmont, who has relatives living in Worthington, passed away Thursday, Sept. 10.

Ted Alan Shaver
(May 6, 1947 - September 10, 2015)

Ted Alan Shaver, 68, of Fairmont, WV passed away Thursday September 10, 2015 at The Pittsburgh Veteran’s Healthcare Facility in Oakland, PA. He was born May 6, 1947 in Fairmont, WV, son of the late Elbert and Dorothy (Christian) Shaver.

 

Ted was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during the Vietnam War. He was the owner and operator of several area businesses including Teddy’s Lounge in Bellview.

 

He is survived by two children, Devan Shaver of Worthington, WV, and Alexandra Shaver of Morgantown, WV; a sister, Donna Sue Llaneza of Fairmont; a niece, Amber Banker and husband Shawn of Worthington, WV; a great niece and nephew, Chase Banker and Autumn Llaneza; a niece, Angela Halstead and husband Troy of Columbus, OH; great nephews, Hayden and Hendrix Halstead; a nephew, Tony Llaneza and fiancé Stacey Patterson of Fairmont, WV; and a great nephew, Zack Morgan.

 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Samantha Jo Shaver.

 

Honoring Ted’s wishes, a private family burial is being arranged by Domico Funeral Home.
