Worthington’s Mary Beth Barr Brown passed away Thursday, Aug. 13.

Mary Beth Barr Brown

Mary Beth Brown, 62, of Worthington, WV passed away Thursday, August 13, 2015, at Fairmont Regional Medical Center. She was born February 26, 1953 in Fairmont, a daughter of the late Reason Hubert and Eva Ann Barr.

 
On July 22, 1972, she married Samuel C. Brown and they had a daughter, Carol Ann Brown of Worthington; also surviving are her two sisters, Annette Keezee and her husband, Howard, Fairmont; and Peggy Burkhammer, Gypsy; two nephews, Michael Keezee and Robert “Bobby” Keezee.

Preceding her in death was her grandson, Samuel Levi Kovar.

Mary Beth was a member and active participant in Teverbaugh Church, where she served in the Choir. She volunteered at the Disibility Action Center, Fairmont. She was a member of the former OES Chapter 103, Shinnston.

Friends will be received at the Harmer Funeral Home, 300 Pike St.,Shinnston from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Friday. A funeral service will be at 7:00 PM Friday, August 14, 2015 with Pastor Danny Blake officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Marion Co. Humane Society at P.O. Box 905 Fairmont, WV 26554.
