Run added to Monongahfest

The Miners Run on a 3.61-mile course will be part of the 2015 Monongahfest on Saturday, Aug. 15.

Early Registration fee is $25 thru July 25th.
After that the fee is $30.
Race Day Registration will be 6:30-7:30 a.m.
Each participant will receive a shirt for entering the event
All race funds will go toward next year’s race.

Show up at the big tent across from the Volunteer Fire Department at 134 Bridge Street in Monongah.

There will be a top 3 in each age division, as well as Overall top 3 Male and Female runners.
The course will start on Dirt Road, turn onto Rails to Trails and finish on the Rails to Trail, out and back.

The Monongahfest Pinball Tournament 2015 will start at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 15 in the Monongah Volunteer Fire Department Building at 134 Bridge Street.

Doors will open at 9 a.m. Qualifying will start at 9:30 and end at 4 p.m.

The Monongahfest Car Show, which is Jenna Won’t Sing Band leader Greg Patrick’s baby, will be Sunday, Aug. 16.

The Monongahfest committee is looking for craft, food and game vendors for the festival.

The first Monongahfest was in 1988.
