Ruth “Inkie” Lemoine Blagg McDonald,
sister of 1951 Monongah High grad Eugene “Buck” Blagg of Idamay, passed away
Tuesday, June 16 in Winchester, Virginia Medical Center. She lived in Charles
Town, West Virginia.

Their parents were Vaughn Blagg and
Neva Hensley Blagg.
Buck and wife Joann Pitman, also Class
of 1951, attend the Monongah High Alumni Reunions nearly every year.
They were married in 1951 and have

Ruth “Inkie” Lemoine McDonald, 72, of Charles
Town, WV passed away Tuesday June 16, 2015 at Winchester Medical Center in
Winchester, VA. She was born August 30, 1942, daughter of the late Vaughn and
Neva (Hensley) Blagg.
Ruth was a former office manager at Drulane
Manufacturing. She was a member of the Jewel City Church in Shinnston, WV and
faithfully attended New Destiny Ministry Center in Kearneysville, WV. Ruth was
a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, and enjoyed ancestry and
painting ceramics.
She is survived by four children, Melody
Potts and husband Daniel of Charles Town, WV, Bev Rupe and husband James of
Lady Lake FL, Jason McDonald and companion Sherry Matthews of Grafton, and
Lavonda Cline and husband Robert of Millville, WV; one brother, Eugene “Buck”
Blagg and wife Joan of Idamay; two sisters, Diana Rotkis and husband Paul of
Anchorage, AK, and Doris Kendall and husband Ray of Spring Mills, WV; seventeen
grandchildren, Gerald Buchanan, Allison Buchanan, Daniel Potts Jr., Jonathan
Potts, Hunter Floyd, Keri Amsel and husband Brandon, Sierra Rupe, Christopher
Rupe, Meagan Jeffries and husband Bobby, Justin McDonald, Stephanie Mercer,
David Mercer, Jason Mercer, Jennifer Mercer, Rebecca Cline, Derrick Cline, and
Tyler Cline; one great granddaughter, Nalay’ja Buchanan; and a special little
friend, Landon Snyder.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded
in death by her husband, Gerald McDonald; two sisters, Imogene McCullough, and
Kathleen Goldstein; and a brother at infancy, Vaughn Blagg Jr.
The Family will receive visitors at Domico
Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Ave. Fairmont from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday and
12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m.
Saturday in the funeral home with Pastor Robert Shingleton officiating.
Interment will follow at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Enterprise. Condolences may
