2 Fairmont business owners pass away

 

Fairmont lost two unrelated business owners this week.

Angelo Michael Deiriggi, 92, of Fairmont who passed away Monday, June 22, was the owner and operator of Belmont Motor Inn, Caesar’s Supper Club, Country Club Shops and other area businesses.

 

He was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister, Minnie Monell.

 

Esther Teresa Prozzillo Anselene, 92, of Fairmont who passed away Sunday, June 21, with husband Arthur Anselene owned and operated East Park Market on East Park Avenue for 43 years. She also operated Korner Krunch, an ice cream and fast food restaurant, for many years.

She was born in Morcone, Italy and immigrated to America when she was five years old and her mother Angelina Parlapiano Prozzillo was reunited with her husband, Sam, who immigrated earlier. Teresa graduated from Fairmont West while living in Westchester.
