This is a mixture of the Monongah High Alumni
Reunion at the Knights of Columbus on Saturday, May 23, the Class of 1950
dinner at the Three Ways Inn on Friday, May 22, John and Paula’s visit to
Blennerhassett Island and to Monongah.
Everyone who is my Facebook friend has been tagged.
The others you’ll have to figure out for yourself.
Sorry, but a technical glitch didn’t let me crop
and improve the quality of the photos. Maybe someday . . .
For now:
Class of 1950 assembling for group photo.
Blennerhassett Island State Park on Ohio River off
Parkersburg.
North Bend State Park Lodge.
Monongah.
Bernie Vingle, John Olesky at Mount Calvary
Cemetery in Monongah.
Dave Wood, Class of 1955.
Jackie Olesky Straight at her home and on her
Rivesville property.
Three Rivers Festival in Fairmont.
John Olesky with the Ahouse sisters.
The rest are tagged (IF they are my Facebook
Friends) or you can figure out those that are not tagged. On some, you can read
their name tags, such as Tom Barnett.
If you can help identify any that are not
identified, email John Olesky at jo4wvu@neo.rr.com Sorry for the photos being lower than my
usual journalistic standards. Once I solve the glitch, I’ll improve the photos.
The Class of 1950, at the age of 83, had six
members there as the special honor class. Not bad for a class of 45 people who
have 22 survivors. Rose Commodore Cain was there on Friday but visited her
granddaughter in Ohio on Saturday. Otherwise, there would have been 11.
Bob Kasper and Bernice Grandstaff Maranville had
planned to attended but unforeseen events caused them to cancel after paying
for their dinner-dance reservations.
If you have MHS Reunion photos you want added to
the online Picasa album, email them in jpeg format to John Olesky at jo4wvu@neo.rr.com with identifications on
as many people are possible.
