Lady Huskies eliminated
North Marion's girls basketball team lost to Logan, 55-53, at the Charleston Coliseum in the state tournament semifinals.
In the previous game against Keyser, North Marion’s Olivia Toland led all players with 19 points and had 9 rebounds and 5 steals as #3 North Marion flattened #6 Keyser, 61-23, in a Class AAA quarterfinal.
Toland
is a granddaughter of Jeanne Cavrich Renshaw and Cecil Renshaw.
Katlyn
Carson had 11 rebounds to record a double-double and 3 steals before leaving
the game via injury with 6 minutes left.
Emma
Freels had 10 points and 6 steals.
Keyser
committed 35 turnovers.
Logan beat Philip Barbour, 62-44, to earn a spot against North Marion in the bracket.
