Eleanor Mae Lee Angelilli, Class of
1943, passed away Sunday, September 15.
Siblings George Henry Lee, Class of
1941, and Robert E. Lee, Class of 1940, predeceased her.
While at Monongah High, Eleanor lived
in Everson and played basketball and volleyball and was in the Junior Red Cross
and Glee Club.
George Henry Lee played football,
volleyball and basketball and was in the Science Club.

Eleanor Mae Lee Angelilli
1924 - 2019
Eleanor Mae Lee Angelilli, 94, of Fairmont,
passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2019 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. She
was born November 26, 1924 on Swisher Hill in Monongah, WV, a daughter of the
late Marvin E. and Beulah Jane Jackson Lee. On July 18, 1993, she was
preceded in death by her husband Albert Carmen Angelilli, Jr.
Mrs. Angelilli was a member for over 50 years
of The Baptist Temple in Fairmont. She was a graduate of Monongah High
School. Eleanor retired from Staud’s Restaurant where she served as
hostess and cashier. She had previously worked in the yard goods and
fabric departments of W.T. Grants department store in Fairmont. She also
had worked at Westinghouse Corporation in the seal beam division.
Eleanor was a member of the Brown Davis Circle
of The Baptist Temple where she worked with many church fundraisers. She
enjoyed baking, working with her flowers, watching westerns on television and
loved following the Mountaineers and the Steelers. But she loved most to
be with her family and follow her granddaughters as they have grown over the
years.
Survivors include her children, Patricia and
her husband Tom Arnold of Fairmont, Albert “Buster” C. Angelilli, III of
Fairmont, and Judy Angelilli of Fairmont, her granddaughters, Jamie and her husband
Greg Boyce of Morgantown, and Brittany and her husband Jonathan Andino of
Pittsburgh, as well as her sister, Jean Sturm of Monongah, WV.
In addition to her husband she was preceded
in death by her infant son, Allen Angelilli, her brothers, George “Henry” Lee,
Robert Lee, James Lee, and Jerry Harris, and her sisters, Mary Barta, Loretta
Malcolm, Arlene Straight, and Susan Inabinet.

Friends and family may visit the Ford Funeral
Home, 201 Columbia Street, Fairmont on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 from 2PM
until 4PM and 6PM until 8PM, as well as on Thursday, September 19, 2019 from
10AM until 11AM. The funeral will be held in the funeral home on
Thursday, September 19, 2019 at 11AM with Rev. Dr. Allan Copenhaver
officiating. Interment will follow at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in
