Joy, Class of 1957, passed away. His widow is Victoria Seccuro Joy of Monongah.

are Bob Joy, Class of 1956, was a guard on the 1955 Monongah High football team
that won the state championship; John Joy, Class of 1960; and Bill Joy, Class
of 1964, all deceased. Brother Raymond Joy lives in Monongah.

Joseph Carmen “Joe” Joy, Jr., 80, of
Monongah, passed away at United Hospital Center on Tuesday, February 26, 2019.
He was born in Monongah, WV on January 19, 1939. He was the son of the late
Joseph and Mary (Falcone) Joy.
He was a talented wine maker and
craftsman having spent many years building his family home, making wine, and
putting his many talents to use.
Joe is survived by his wife of 50
years, Victoria (Seccuro) Joy of Monongah; his son, Philip Joy of Manassas, VA;
daughters, Mary Jo Lopez and husband Francis of Clarksburg, and Angela Johnson
and husband Aaron of Morgantown; a brother, Raymond Joy and wife Lois of
Monongah; four grandchildren, Xavier and Victoria Lopez, and Olivia and Georgia
Belle Johnson; five nieces, Andrea Nepture (Andy), Raeann Powell (Bert), Helen
Verge-Wilson (Rory), Gina Joy-Reyes, and Joanna Key (Brian); five nephews,
Robert Joy (Mary Beth), Michael Joy (Lisa), Joseph Antolock (Cari), William
Joy, and Daniel Seccuro, Jr.; great nieces and nephews, Marisa, Michael,
Anthony, and Stephen Joy, Devon and Logan Neptune, Trey Stoller, Kaitlyn
Fletcher and Lauren Antolock, Leah and Ally Powell, Lexi Reyes, Amelia and John
Key; and many close friends.
In addition to his parents, he was
preceded in death by his three brothers, Robert, John, and William Joy.
The family will receive family and
friends at Domico Funeral Home, 414 Gaston Avenue in Fairmont, on Friday, March
1, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday, March 2, 2019 from
10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. The funeral service will be at the funeral home on
Saturday at 11:00 a.m. with Father Vincent Joseph and Deacon Lou Belldina
officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Fairmont, where
full military rites will be conducted by the Marion County Vetarans Council.
