Pat Mezzanotte passes away

Pat Mezzanotte of Fairmont passed away Tuesday, April 3.

He was married to Virginia Cameon Mezzanotte.

Nathaleen Cameon Oliverio Class of 1948, of East Chicago, Illinois,  reported:

“It is with heavy heart that I say to you my sister Virginia's husband, Pat Mezzanotte, died.

“Such a kind &loving person. My prayer is for strength to her & the family now and that Pat is at peace with no more suffering & pain.

“Love & prayers, Nat”

Pat and Virginia Mezzanotte celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 2013. They were married at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Carolina by the late Father Joseph Mascioli. 

Nat and husband Sam Oliverio, who passed away 13 years ago, lives in Indiana for 60 years. Their sons are Dominick, Lowell and Tom. Dominick became a psychologist who worked in federal prisons. Tom became an Illinois State Trooper captain. Lowell became a police officer for Lowell, Indiana.

Nat and Sam have six grandchildren (3 boys, 3 girls) and three great-grandchildren (2 girls, 1 boy). Nat was a supermarket deli supervisor for 15 years.

 

Nathaleen and Virginia’s parents were Clyde and Maggie Cameon.

Their siblings are Albert Cameon, Class of 1947, who passed away in 2014.; Pete Cameon, Class of 1958; Bill Cameon, Class of 1960; Linda Cameon, Class of 1966, of Carolina; and, all deceased, Arthur Cameon, Joe Cameon and Rudy Cameon.

Also on the extensive Cameon family tree somewhere are Francis King Cameon, Class of 1942; Constance Koldres Cameon, Class of 1963; Angela Cameon Viney, Class of 1968; Francine Cameon Jurasko, Class of 1978; Cheri Slamen Cameon, North Marion 1980; and Albert Cameon of Mannington, deceased.
