Jim Shamrock passes away
Jim Shamrock, one of 7 siblings who
attended Monongah High, passed away Monday, November 2. He was the widower of Judy
Shamrock. He lived in Cortland, Ohio.
His parents were Mary Shamrock and John
Steve Shamrock.
His sister, Cecelia Shamrock Eller, Class
of 1955, who passed away in 2003 was married to Robert Eller of Francis Mines. John
Shamrock was Class of 1947. Other Shamrock siblings
were John, Class of 1947; Joe; Paul, Class of 1962; Mike, Class of
1966; and Christina Shamrock Hennig, Class
of 1967.
Christina, who lives in Abilene, Texas, is married
to college professor Charles Hennig, on the faculty at Salem College in West
Virginia and McMurry University in Abilene.
