Tina Marshall’s mom passes away

Mary Compton Faber, mother of Monongah’s Tina Faber Marshall, passed away Wednesday, January 31.

Tina has been married to Joe Marshall for nearly two decades.

Tina is a Doddridge High graduate.

Tina studied criminal justice at Fairmont State and lived in Williamstown, New Jersey with parents Lyn McAllister McIntire and Patrick before her Doddridge High days.

Fabers who graduated from Monongah High include:

Victoria Faber, Class of 1960.

Dave Faber, Class of 1965.

Mary Madeline Faber, age 89, formerly of Barrackville, WV passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2019 at the Fairmont Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. She was born March 3, 1929 at Charleston, WV, daughter of the late Floyd Compton and Wilmot Keeney Compton and step-mother Amelia Compton

She is survived by 3 children, Cindy and Kenny Knight of Metz, Joe and Tina Marshall of Monongah, and John Paul and Verlinda Faber of Fairmont; 5 grandchildren, Anissa and Dave Neubauer, Jared and Segrid Knight, Justin Marshall, Dylan Marshall and Danny Ford; 3 great-grandchildren, Elliena Knight, Khloe Neubauer and Trace Ford; a sister, Anne Rameriz of Buchannon; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her 2 husbands, Joseph Marshall and Paul Faber; one daughter, Judy Ford; 2 brothers, Walter Cline and Floyd Compton; and a grandson, Nicky Griffin.

Mary enjoyed spending time with her family. She retired from Fairmont State University with 18 years of service in the dining hall.

There will be no public visitation or funeral services. Private interment for family will take place at Mt. Zion in Fairmont at the convenience of the family. On-line condolences may be left for the family at www.mastersfuneralhomewv.com .
