Richard Bednarz passes away

Richard Bednarz, Class of 1958, brother of Delores Bednarz and Annette Bednarz Lambert, has passed away in Beavercreek, Ohio, a Dayton suburb not far from Elaine Hewitt Monell’s Riverside home.

Richard previously lived in Salyersville, Kentucky. His widow is Avonell Bednarz.

Richard and Bill Davis, Class of 1958, were best friends. They went to high school and went to the Marines together, reports Donna Davis, Class of 1956, Bill’s wife.

Donna added:

“Every year in October, they went back to Paris Island for the Marines reunion. Bill will sure miss him.”

Delores Bednarz lives in Jackson Street in the home where she came from her Washington, D.C. retirement to take care of her late mother, Lena Bednarz.

Annette lives in Clinton, Washington.

Their father was the late Joseph Bednarz.
