The 2016 Monongahfest is just not fun
and games.
A 16-inch girls bike and a 16-inch
boys bike will be given away, along with a helmet. There’s also a chance to win
a basketful of school supplies.
Free tickets by the stage at 2 p.m.
Saturday during the children’s hour. Wal-Mart gif certificates, too. And an
iPad in front of the Fire Department Hall.
Monongah Police Department certified
child safety seat inspector Vernon Noose, after demonstrating the proper way to
handle a child’s safety seat in the car, will have a pair of child safety seats
to hand out, too.

MONONGAHFEST SCHEDULE
The 2016 Monongahfest Parade will begin at noon Saturday. Participants
should be at the Monongah Elementary School at 11 a.m. The parade will travel
through town and end up near the Monongah Town Hall.
