Jane “Nene” Pritchard Moore, Class of
1975, and Henry Moore are celebrating their 29th wedding anniversary
today.
Wrote Nene:
“We've been through some really bad times, mostly through
death or disease, and really good times, our 2 daughters (Rachel and Allison).
“Happy Anniversary, Henry! And they said it wouldn't
last, lol. Love, Jane. (He's a saint for putting up with me.)”
Nene has survived cancer multiple times. What a warrior!
Nene is a daughter of John Charleston Pritchard, who
passed away from a Western Maryland Railroad train accident at age 42 when Nene
was 11, sister Beth Pritchard Brooks was 8 and Jonna Pritchard Barnett was one
day from her 7th birthday.
Their mother was Mary
Jane McDaniel Pritchard, daughter of the
famous Ted McDaniel, Monongah Streetcar Stationmaster. Mary
Jane reared the three girls as a widow.
Nene is an LPN at Pediatrics Associates.
Jonna, in the first graduation class at North Marion in 1980
after going to Monongah High for three years, is married to Shinnston
High grad Brad Barnett.
Beth, Class of 1978, who lives on Harter Hill in Worthington
when she doesn’t join husband Rick Brooks in his conveyor system projects
around the country.
Mary Jane’s siblings are Jo Ann
McDaniel Huff, Class of 1949, who lives in Worthington; Donald McDaniel; and Jim McDaniel,
Class of 1960, who lives with wife Mary Faust McDaniel, in Rehobothbeach,
Delaware.
Jonna is next in line for a wedding anniversary.
Her 34th with Brad will happen August 7.
Beth and Rick celebrated their 36th
wedding anniversary Jan. 25.
