Monongah’s former Trinity Independent Church pastor, Frank Cosco, who attended both East Fairmont and West Fairmont high schools and is married to Monongah High grad Sharon Cosco, will have a biopsy of his vocal cord on Friday.

 

Sharon said Frank has lost his voice and that the doctor said the vocal cord had spots on it.

 

 Frank and brother Joe Cosco, who lives in White Hall on Emerald Lane, in 2014 opened Cosco’s Sandwich Shop at 300 Merchant Street in Fairmont. Frank ran unsuccessfully for Monongah Town Council in 2015 and 2017.

 

Former Fairmont radio station WMMN entertainer Sharon married coal miner Chester Parker, who passed away in 1979 at the age of 38, in Winchester, Virginia. Then she became Frank Cosco's wife.
