Robert Danko, Class of 1962, and
Brenda Marlene Gawthrop Danko, Class of 1963, will celebrate their 48th
wedding anniversary on Saturday, July 13.
They have two daughters, Jill Ann
Talkington-Dixon and Christina Marie Daugherty. Both are North Marion High
graduates, Jill in 1984 and Christina in 1992.
Jill, who works at Shoe Show after some time at Fashion Bug, lives in Monongah, next to her parents with Raymond Shipco as their neighbor, 4 or 5 doors south of the Union Hall on U.S. 19 (now called Freedom Road).
Christina lives in Fairmont with husband Mike. Their sons are Logan and Dylan. Christina works at the Community Action Head Start in Edgemont in Fairmont.

Bob and Brenda, who lived in
Worthington during her Monongah High days, have four grandsons and one great-granddaughter.
Bob is a Marine veteran of Vietnam
and a coal miner at Consol’s Roberts Run mine.
Brenda was in the Y-Teens, the
Knitting Club and the Fashion Show at Monongah High.
