MHS Reunion regular Bob Cogar passes
away
Robert
Luther “Bob” Cogar, whose sister, Gladys Cogar Crandall, is a 1949 Monongah
High grad, passed away Sunday, April 29.
I
couldn’t find Bob in my graduation lists for Monongah High but Ramona Fullen
Michalski, Class of 1949, said Bob came to the Monongah High Alumni Reunions
with Gladys.
The
dinner-dance reservation lists provided to me by MHS Alumni Association
treasurer Donna Davis show that Bob signed the reservations sheets in 2005,
Gladys in 2006 and Bob in 2008, 2010, 2013 and 2014.
Gladys
lived in Wildomar, California before predeceasing Bob.
At Monongah High she was
in the MHS band, school orchestra, Glee Club, Junior Red Cross treasurer and
participated in the class basketball tournaments.
Bob’s
other siblings were the late Ovlin Cogar, William S. Cogar and John Edward
Cogar.
