Tim Snyder, Donna Morgan Snyder’s husband, passes away

Tim Snyder, husband of Donna Morgan Snyder and retired from the Marion County Board of Education, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 28.

Donna’s sister is Bev Morgan Colisino, Class of 1974, married to Harry James Colisino, son of Patsy Colisino.

Tim’s obituary:

SHINNSTON — Timothy D. Snyder, Sr., of Enterprise, passed away at 2:02 p.m. Wednesday, January 28, 2015, at his residence.  

He was born on New Year’s Eve, a son of the late Leon and Ethel Snyder.  

Surviving are his wife, Donna Morgan Snyder, whom he married June 13, 1974; four children, Jennifer Crawford and her husband David, Long Island, NY, Timothy David Snyder, Jr. and his wife Loretta, Shinnston, Adam Snyder and his wife Tina, Enterprise, Kristin Snyder, Washington, PA; five grandchildren, Charlie Crawford, David Snyder, Luke Snyder, Amber Southern and Morgan Southern; one brother, Martin Snyder, and one sister, Janet Snyder, both of Allentown, PA; and several nieces and nephews.  

Mr. Snyder was a proud veteran, having served with the United States Air Force during the Korean War. In 2009, he retired from the Marion County Board of Education.

Friends may call at the Perine Funeral Home, 1348 S. Pike St., Shinnston, from 2-8 p.m. Sunday, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, February 2, with Pastor Dan Adkins officiating.
