Middle school & males worst at bullying

47% of student bullying incidents in West Virginia's public schools occur in middle schools.

29% of school discipline referrals for bullying, harassment or intimidation occurred in high schools and 24% in elementary schools.
  
Of the 2,957 students referred for disciplinary action, 75% are male.
