“Mr.
Hoagie has improved tremendously. He is still on fetnel. Completely off the
propofol. He still has the trache and is still on a breathing machine as well as
still isolated. Still has a lot of secretions in his lungs. However, his lungs
are getting stronger. We put him in a chair for an hour. Mr. Hoagie will be
slaying hoagies again soon. Thank you for all the prayers and support.”
Sue Ahouse Schrader,
Class of 1971, will be conducting a fundraiser for Brian at her Stoneylonesome
home in Monongah at 6 p.m. April 11. A portion of all sales will be donated to
help with Brian’s medical expenses. Sue’s place is a yellow trailer on the left with a pool deck right
before you get to Fazio's Elder Care. When she’s not in Monongah, Sue is in her Piscataway,
New Jersey home.
Brian is in West Penn
Burn Center in Pittsburgh. The home was destroyed by the fire.
North Marion graduate Amanda Lee Wilson,
born and raised in Monongah, headed fundraising efforts for a Big Mill Fall couple
who also lost their home to a fire. Amanda’s parents are David Wilson and
Bertha Kennedy Wilson. Her grandparents are David Wilson and Shirley Fox
Wilson.
