Robert Boyton Levelle, Sr. passed away Sunday, July 8.

Bob's children are Pat Levelle, Class of 1971, who lives in Beaufort, South Carolina with wife Cindy McVicker Levelle, and Robert Levelle II, Class of 1970, of Fairmont.

Bob’s siblings are Betty Levelle Frederick of Fairmont; Margaret Christner of Mannington, where Bob was born; and predeceased Don Levelle and Lorestine Levelle.

Cindy  wrote:

"Sad to inform that Pat’s dad passed away. He was a remarkable man, humble, hardworking and gentle."

Pat and Cindy have been married for 40 years. Their children are Evan Levelle, Owen Levelle and Miles Levelle.

Cindy’s siblings are Caroline McVicker Haught, Pam McVicker Pride, Gerald McVicker, Charles McVicker, Sr., Joann McVicker Lake and two others not identified in the siblings photo.

I couldn’t find any connection between Bob Levelle and Charles Joseph Levelle, father of five Monongah High graduates, who passed away Wednesday, July 4. Joe is survived by wife Martha Carr Levelle, Class of 1942. Joe was predeceased by wives Betty Levelle and Wanda Levelle.

Robert Boyton Levelle, Sr., 92, of Fairmont, passed away Sunday, July 8, 2018. He was born on October 21, 1925 in Mannington, son of the late Carter and Margaret Levelle.

Robert was a veteran of the United States Navy and the Marine Corps. in World War II. He was a member of the American Legion Post 0017 in Fairmont. He worked in auto body repair at Astro Buick and Tarlton Motors.

Robert is survived by 2 sons, Robert Levelle II of Fairmont, and Patrick Levelle and his wife Cindy of South Carolina; grandchildren, Evan Levelle, Myles Levelle, and Owen Levelle; and sisters, Betty Frederick of Fairmont, and Margaret Christner of Mannington.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his siblings, Don Levelle, and Lorestine Levelle.

There will be a private service held at a later date. The arrangements are under the care of Domico Funeral Home in Fairmont.
