Fore! Jenna band ready for annual fundraiser Oct. 30

Jenna Won’t Sing, Monongah’s No. 1 band directed by teacher extraordinaire Greg Patrick, will do its annual Breast Cancer Awareness fundraiser at the Fairmont Field Club on Friday, October 30. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Optional dinner is $15 per person.

That’s where, as a teenager, I caddied for the rich folks in Fairmont, stole wine from their parties late at night, and got sick drinking it the next day after hiding it in the ground under sizzling sunshine most of the day. Ah, the glorious memories of youth!

Jim Pulice, Class of 1969, retired Monongah Middle School principal and son of Jim Pulice, Class of 1948; son Eric Pulice, Ron Yanero and Greg Patrick, Class of 1970, form the Jenna Won’t Sing band. Jim and Patrick have been together musically since elementary school.
