You don’t want to miss the 2019 Monongah High Alumni Banquet.

The banquet will be at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, May 25 at the Knight of Columbus Hall on Mary Lou Retton Drive in Fairmont.

Some classes will have single-class get-togethers on Friday, May 24.

Greta Martin Mike, Class of 1922, began the alumni reunion banquets in 1922. That makes it the oldest continuous high school reunion in West Virginia.

We need a good turnout to keep this Lions reunion going so that we can observe the 100^th reunion in 2022.

And more and more Lions pass away every year, so it might be your last chance to see your former classmates.

Since the last Monongah High graduation was in 1979, there are no replacements for those no longer with us.

So, get with it! And enjoy the evening, as I do.
