Happy birthday, October Lions!
Kim Glover Ice, Class of 1975, whose birthday is October 18,
began her high school education at Shinnston High.
Kim married Tom Ice, whose parents were
Irene Yuhas Ice, Class of 1946, who shared an uncle, Steve Kerekes, with me,
and Guy Ice. Kim and Tom have a son, Jay. Kim lives in Hutchinson. She’s a
Licensed Practical Nurse who has worked at Fairmont General and UHC.
Mark Glover, Class of 1979, who lives in
Worthington, is Kim’s brother. Along with Kevin Byrd, Mark and Kim are the
children of the late Helen Starcher Byrd, Class of 1955, whose brothers were
the late Nelson Starcher, Class of 1960, and Jim Starcher, in my Class of 1950.
